Five plugins, one dev team: the five install commands

The five install commands for the five plugins that fill an empty dev team, one for each seat — memory, design, planning, review, security. Every name and count from the CLI, checked 2026-09-12.

Every name and count on this page came out of claude plugin details in one repository on 2026-09-11. Every count here came from the CLI; the one quoted description is Anthropic’s own. The token figures are the CLI’s own projection, which it labels an estimate.

Before you start: you probably do not need to add a marketplace. Claude Code “registers it automatically the first time you start Claude Code interactively” (Claude Code docs). If your first run was non-interactive, or a policy blocked it, you add it yourself with claude plugin marketplace add anthropics/claude-plugins-official. Check which case you are in with claude plugin marketplace list.

1. Memory: claude-md-management

claude plugin install claude-md-management@claude-plugins-official

What arrives: two skills, claude-md-improver and revise-claude-md. Resident cost: ~177 tokens per session. What it takes off you: keeping the project memory file current, so a new session doesn’t start with you retyping context. When it’s not worth it: if you have nothing written down yet, the first run is mostly an interview.

Check it worked: run claude plugin details claude-md-management@claude-plugins-official. You should see Skills (2) and the two names above.
