Privacy, in plain English.

Information I collect

• Your email address when you choose to submit it on this site.
• The guide, page, or campaign that led to your signup.
• The language of the form you used, so I know whether to write in English or Korean.
• The date you ticked the consent box and the exact sentence it showed, so I can show what you agreed to.
• Instagram automation interactions that Meta and Manychat provide, such as a comment, DM response, button click, or follow-check result.
• Basic request and security logs processed by the website host when you visit the site.

I do not ask for sensitive personal information through these forms or automations.

Why I use it

• To deliver the guide or information you requested.
• To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website and Instagram automation.
• To tell you when a new guide or video is out, only when you have agreed to receive email marketing.
• To understand campaign performance using aggregated results.

Where applicable, requested-guide processing is based on the steps you asked me to take, security and service operation rely on legitimate interests, and email marketing relies on your consent. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time.

Your choice

You can choose not to provide an email address. The Instagram automation still sends you the guide link, and the opening of every guide is free to read at himinseok.com/guides. Only the later sections of a guide ask for an address, and the consent box is never ticked for you.

Marketing emails include an unsubscribe option. You can also ask to access, correct, or delete your information, or withdraw consent, by sending a DM to @himinseok and writing “privacy request.”

Service providers

I use the following providers to run this workflow:

• Meta and Instagram for comments and direct messages.
• Manychat for Instagram automation and contact fields.
• Resend for guide email list storage and email delivery.
• Vercel for website hosting and request processing.

These providers may process information in countries other than yours under their own privacy terms and transfer safeguards. I do not sell personal information.

How long I keep it

I keep a marketing contact until you unsubscribe, withdraw consent, or request deletion, unless a longer period is required by law. Guide-delivery and DM records are kept only while they are needed to operate or troubleshoot the workflow and measure aggregated results, then deleted or anonymized. Service-provider security logs follow each provider’s retention schedule.

Tracking

This site does not currently install advertising pixels or behavioral analytics. Vercel may still process ordinary request logs needed to deliver and secure the site.

Changes

I will update this page before materially changing how the information above is used. The effective date at the top shows the current version.
